To place a bid, open the Face Off With CF Gala auction in Bid Beacon, browse the available items, and select the item you’d like to bid on. Enter your bid amount or use any available quick bid option, then confirm your bid. You’ll receive a confirmation if your bid is successful.

Making a donation is easy. Visit our donation page, choose your donation amount, complete the required information, and submit your donation securely online. Every contribution helps support Cystic Fibrosis Canada and the Face Off With CF Gala.

Click “Join Auction” in Bid Beacon and follow the prompts to create an account or sign in. Once registered, you’ll be able to place bids, track your activity, and receive auction updates.

Yes. After signing in to Bid Beacon, you can update your account information through your profile or account settings.

If someone places a higher bid, Bid Beacon will notify you (if notifications are enabled). You can also sign in at any time to view your active bids and see whether you’re currently the highest bidder.

You will be contacted by email or phone to confirm you have been successful, and to arrange payment.

Depending on how the auction has been set up, you will either be asked for your credit card details when you first make a bid or donation, in which case we will automatically collect the money if you win an item when the auction closes. Or we will send you a link by email and SMS so you can pay once the auction closes. In some cases, the charity will contact you directly to collect payment.

Yes. Many auction items can be viewed and bid on online through Bid Beacon. Please refer to the auction details for any item-specific pickup or delivery requirements.
